Summer 2011

Onwards

After eight years making original work in Portland, we at Fever Theater have decided to end our project together. We say goodbye to the name Fever with love for the project and the community that has supported it since 2003. We are extremely grateful to all of the audiences, donors, students and collaborators with whom we have had the pleasure of interacting. We end our project together with admiration and respect for each other, and with excitement for all of the future endeavors of Fever’s company members.

All of the co-artistic directors of Fever have exciting projects on the horizon: Amber Whitehall is currently an artist-in-residence at Conduit, and will be premiering a solo show, near to the wild heart, at Conduit in 2012. Amber will also be teaching regular classes at Conduit- to keep up to date on Amber’s classes and performances, visit www.amberwhitehall.com. Jacob Coleman is also premiering a solo show, On Killing, in Portland this year, and teaching classes throughout the year. You can keep track of his performances and classes at www.jacobcoleman.net. Kate Sanderson Holly will be directing a new show, Summerland, in 2012, with a new company, Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble. Kate, Amber and Jacob will all be teaching classes with the Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble, an exciting new company founded by Rebecca Lingafelter, Cristi Miles, Kate Sanderson Holly, Jacob Coleman and Amber Whitehall.
